Hold Up! Wait A Minute!

Yeah, I know…some of you may be wondering what the heck is going on with the home office remodel. Well, everything is “sorta” in place, but there are projects left to complete. Plus, the office has been where we’ve been painting and frankly, it looks like a bomb went off in here. I guess a busy/messy area means money is being made?

I dream of a staged room, like I see in the magazines. Pfff. Give it up, Holly! Ain’t gonna happen. So, maybe in a few weeks, I will try and wrap up a few projects so I can quickly move a bunch of boxes and crap out of the way, take a photo, and then move them over to another spot so I can shoot a photo of another area. You know, carefully shifting piles of crap so it looks perfect?

Projects that need to be complete:

Chandelier paint touchup and faux crystals hung

Curtains for the window (still haven’t bought them, shoulda just went with Pottery Barn because they would have been shipped by now)

Fabric treatment for the desk to hide the unsightly, ugly techno gadgets and computer

And, of course, the cushion for the doggy bed.

They certainly don’t seem to mind the 1990′s ratty comforter shoved in there for the time being.
