I offer a limited amount of mentorships via the web to other photographers looking to improve their photo editing, or just to ask me questions one-on-one about my business. Each one-on-one mentorship requires a minimum of two hours time. I will book these on Monday, Tuesday or Friday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. CST (I’m in St. Louis, Missouri). You are required to have SKYPE to communicate with me. You’ll be able to see my screen and watch me work, and talk to me via your computer’s microphone. Skype is free and easy to use.
I use the following software in my workflow:
- PhotoMechanic
- Adobe Lightroom 2
- Adobe Photoshop CS3
It’s $150 per hour and the two hour payment ($300) is due up front to schedule your session. You do not need to communicate via webcam, just have a mic. I would obtain a SKYPE account and test it out to make sure you are comfortable with it. About 10 minutes to end of your session, I will let you know and you can decide if you would like to continue on with 30 minute increments at $50 each. Mentorships should not exceed four hours – at this point inquire about a full day, in-person one-on-one with me.
