I’m a Lover Not a Fighter

She was seized from a fighting ring in St. Louis. Her sweet, gentle, and shy demeanor would fool you. My contribution to this year’s Stray Rescue Urban Wanderers art show. I’ll give more details on the dates and venue when I know more. Now, to send this beauty off to be matted and framed – she is available for adoption (ask for the pit bull named, Andrea)!

For those that are fans on FB, this is the hat that I made for this. Yes, the ENTIRE thing was constructed and decorated in a few short days. But, totally worth it. My idea was that pit bulls get such a bad reputation, but they can be sweet, feminine and gentle, too.

Good news, last year’s pit bull, Taylor, that we photographed was adopted to a loving home with kids!
