He’s my cousin. She’s his girlfriend. They wanted photos. Hello? I’m a photographer!

Photographing my family members is always an honor. It means so much to me that they appreciate my art and trust me to take their pictures. Sometimes, it can be awkward photographing those we love and hold dear, getting them to relax, ya know? But, I think this session went perfect!

No, they aren’t engaged (I am sure my family members reading this and seeing the photos are wondering). They just wanted some great photos of the two of them. I’ve not really had a good chance to get to know Alicia, but I think this will give us a better opportunity to do so. In fact, we started that relationship by us all going to dinner after their session in Faust Park in Chesterfield. We had great conversation, laughs, food and wine. It couldn’t get much better than that.
