St. Louis Wedding Photographer | Ann & Nate Say I Do

“Annie, you have to come and meet the man you are supposed to marry.” Her friend encouraged her. Those were the words that convinced Annie to make a trip to Oklahoma. Nate was just finishing his BA in History there. The two began dating in the spring. However, Nate was temporarily deployed to Hawaii that summer. Such a short time dating, he invited Annie to fly to Hawaii. It took a bit of convincing, but she did.

Her Maid of Honor shares of the beautiful images that Annie was sharing with her from Hawaii via text message. It was gorgeous. They were having an amazing time together. Everything was going fantastic. Until…Annie had an emergency appendectomy…while in Hawaii. According to Annie, Nate is her angel. He was by her side every minute. He officially met her parents over the phone before surgery. She was in great hands. Annie probably would not have admitted it at the time, but she believes she knew she would marry him then.

Eventually, Nate moved to St. Louis upon getting back from Hawaii. He came here to get his master’s. They have had plenty more great times since then, including a big wedding on Saturday. No more emergencies, okay?

The wedding was beautiful. Held at the historic Hawken House in Webster Groves, the setting was quaint and perfect. I can’t imagine a more perfect day. Some highlights from the day that I call my favorites. Be sure to watch the slideshow at the end for more!
