St. Louis Wedding Photography | Jeannie’s Trash the Dress Session

Another awesome Trash the Dress bride! Jeannie is the sweetest person that I’ve met in a long time! So excited about this session, Jeannie was referred to me by another talented photographer, Teri Eddy. When I put the call out for this event, there was Jeannie! In love with the color pink, and ready to do whatever we wanted, I was so happy. Her hubby came along too to make for a completely different type of session.

I love how everything turned out and how dramatic and beautiful they both look. I am lucky that I get to see them both again when we get to photograph her husband, Dennis, sister’s wedding later this year. All the connections, St. Louis is such a small, big town, isn’t it?

I put a call out for brides wanting to trash their dresses for me on Twitter and Facebook, and in a matter of hours we had four willing models lined up. I have wanted to do this type of session forever and really want to show off these types of images in our more conservative region of the United States. It’s something that I think can be a lot of fun.

With many reasons to do a session like this – do you really think you’ll wear your dress again in 20 years? Did you just get divorced? Why not have fun and feel like a fashion model for the day? If you’re not that type, no biggy!
