Yes, We Still Do Weddings!

I’m sure many of our readers that have seen the new site were wondering. And, I wanted to make sure our visitors were fully aware that we still do weddings and engagements. In fact, E-sessions are my FAVORITE! The new site tends to have a dominance towards the high school senior market. As a photographer, it’s really important to find your niche and put most of your efforts towards that. After this year, I’m pretty sure I’m going to change my goal of 10 weddings a year to five. Yes, just five. I have six on the books this year, and I feel like that is just perfect now. I love being at a wedding. I love the love. I love the details. I just want to continue being a small, boutique-styled photography studio. That way, we can fully accommodate each of our bridal couples with more attention than say if you went to a larger studio, or someone that books a wedding every. single. saturday. Nope, that’s not our company. I want to personally get to know each of my wedding clients. I want them to know that they can come to me for suggestions, feedback, and even to just have a break with a cup of coffee. Yep, that’s our company.

When you look down at the lower left of most parts of the site pages, you’ll see a little question:

Simply click those to be taken to our two-page wedding and portrait section. If you’re looking for our boudoir photography, yes, we still shoot it. We just have that portion of our project on hold while we evaluate the best way to portray it on our website so that it’s tasteful and doesn’t link with our high school market. We know you can understand our reasoning.

So, there you have it! Five weddings per year. And, we have one on the books for 2011 already. Are you getting married? Want to discuss our wedding services? Schedule a time to meet with me at our studio in Manchester and we’ll bring the champagne!
