Or at least you would think they were. Not here. We didn’t relax at all. I lie, I took a little nap yesterday around 4 p.m. Which didn’t even hurt my sleeping habits at night. Yeah, that tired.
My mom is the best. Her job with the chalkboards in this business is to cut them and do the packing of the orders. She works full time and really is my hero. I could never do all this without her. Aren’t moms the best? She worked all day yesterday packing the orders and making them look so cute.
I took them all to the post office and the sweetest man helped me carry boxes in. I was so shocked to get that help…I mean, let’s face it, people are usually so into themselves and you don’t normally find polite and kind people like that these days. And, the postal workers were even more sweet. Made that job a lot easier (if only I hadn’t forgotten my wallet – good thing I did postage online!)
I think we’re going to take today off from making more boards. Just one day. After I catch up on accounting, I will continue to make more headbands to go in the new store. Here are just a few I’ve made. The blue one went in a random order box of chalkboards as a giveaway. Hope that person likes the surprise!
